Its closing action is just like your hand, so it doesn't pull the string off center. As a result, no re-tuning is necessary! The Shubb C5 standard capo for banjos is used by millions of musicians world wide. We call it "for banjo" but we're quick to add "also fits most mandolins, bouzoukis, and other instruments with narrow necks." The C5 model is 1.5 inches wide and is available for both flat and radiused fretboards. The standard C5 capo in polished nickel has been upgraded to include the roller for smoother action, superior geometry, and reduced wear. We've also added the contoured lever allowing for easier use and rounded ends that are softer to the touch.
